Level 1 Technician

Position Purpose:

Install Technician – Level 1 will be responsible for cabling, terminating and testing new construction and old construction Residential and commercial job locations without direct supervision to plan specification, CDI specifications and local codes.

On the job training will be provided.

Technical

· In-house and on the job trained knowledge of how to properly cable, terminate and test job locations.

· Read floor plans and execute accordingly

Clerical

· Ability to access, read and understand scheduled appointments

· Maintain contact on-site with supervisors and other trades to ensue job completion.

· Communicate with CDI scheduling team to ensure documentation of job completion or other issues that arise.

General

· Technician is required to own or obtain all of the tools for the position ( Level 1 required tool list)

· Follow company dress code at all time

· Maintain a clean and safe workplace

· Keep fleet vehicle clean, organized and in good working order. (Fleet maintenance list will be provided)

Job Requirements

· Strong attention to detail

· Good customer service and follow up skills

· Must have and maintain a clean driving record and follow safe driving guidelines

· Ability to lift over 35 pounds on a regular basis.

· Ability to execute and abide by company standards

Budget Responsibility: No
Supervisory Responsibility: No

Compensation

Position is hourly and with raises based on completion of skill/knowledge milestones.

Pay Ranges from $14 to $17 an hour based on prior experience

Lead Technician

Position Purpose:

Installation Lead Technician – Will be responsible for overseeing and installing cabling, terminating and testing new construction, old construction, and retro-fit applications of Residential and Commercial job locations. The position will also require the prior planning, design, setup and programming of audio, video, network, surveillance and security equipment without direct supervision, to CDI specifications and local codes, while maintaining a high level of communication, follow-up, customer service and attention to detail.

Essential Job Duties:

Technical

  • 3 years of industry experience with custom AV, home automation, and network
  • Computer literacy as it pertains to programming and installation needs
  • Knowledge of how to properly program required equipment
  • Knowledge of how to properly install and set up required equipment
  • Knowledge of basic construction practices
  • Read floor plans and execute accordingly
  • Ability to design, layout and cable in retro fit and new construction applications

Clerical

  • Ability to access, read and understand and schedule appointments
  • Maintain contact with, Customers, Contractors, Job Supervisors, and other trades to ensure job completion
  • Communicate with CDI scheduling team to ensure documentation of job completion or issues that arise
  • Communicate with customers before, during and after final installation to ensure every customer is always taken care of.
  • Create Estimates and invoices
  • Ensure all product is accounted for on current projects
  • Collect payment on site

General

  • Technician is expected to have and own all required tools for the position (Lead – required tool list)
  • Follow company dress code at all times
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment
  • Keep Fleet Vehicle Maintained, organized and in good working order
  • Keep to-do and follow up items caught up and completed at all times.
  • Manage current projects to ensure deadlines and milestones are met

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of Custom AV experience
  • Strong attention to customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Maintain a clean Driving record and follow safe driving guidelines.
  • Ability to Lift over 35 pounds on a regular basis (Less than 200 Pounds)
  • Ability to execute and abide by company standards.

Compensation

Position is Salary with raised based on completion of skill and knowledge milestones.

Pay ranges from $40,000 to $52,000 based on prior experience

Outside Sales Rep

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial and residential business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. Our business provides design and implementation of network cabling, security and monitoring, WiFi networks, surveillance systems, card access, audio/video systems, smart homes, control systems, and custom theaters.

Responsibilities

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Service existing clients
  • Effectively demonstrate product line
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
